Hi, welcome to our website!

My name is Kenny, in 2023 I left my corporate job to further pursue my passion for food and baking. For many years I dreamed of opening a little shop where I could share my love for sweets. Simple desserts done the right way - with care, love, and attention - is something I personally enjoy the most, and that is exactly what we are trying to achieve at burnt. 

After testing over a dozen cream cheeses, countless ratios of ingredients, baking times, temperatures, and cake sizes, I definitely gained some weight, but more importantly, found a recipe I felt truly confident sharing with you. 

We keep it simple by using a pure cream cheese without any additives, preservatives, or stabilizers. Combined with a carefully balanced ingredient ratio and baking time, it gives our cheesecake its distinctive character: creamy in the centre, slightly more baked around the edges, and deeply caramelized on top. A simple cake with a unique flavour profile in every bite - simplicity done right.

Besides our cheesecakes, we also serve cheesecake milkshakes! Made with our Basque style cheesecake, organic vanilla ice cream, and milk, these creamy shakes are perfect for the summer months, or winter, we don’t judge!
